Our History
From the beginning, Rent4Less has built and maintained a reputation for quality, value, integrity and team work that is unparalleled in the private auto rental industry in Southern California.
Mickey, our founder and Chief Executive Officer, helped to establish this reputation by setting out to offer customers a rental experience that was unlike any other and second to none.
He wanted to provide an experience comprised of fast service, value and dedication to his clientele from a staff that was informative, professional and a pleasure to deal with.
These were the principles that Mickey set out to follow with the hope of building an accessible and affordable car rental company that would guarantee its customers the best rental experience possible.
And so it began.
In 1998 Rent4Less was born and Mickey, along with 3 other employees and a fleet of just 20 cars, opened our first office in Garden Grove, California.
This branch office quickly gained a reputation for providing terrific customer service as people knew they could count on the dedication displayed by all the employees at Rent4Less.
With this orientation towards true customer service, Rent4Less began to open up several branch offices in neighborhoods all around Southern California.
Being the first company to make car rentals available in several neighborhoods, Rent4Less has set the standard of customer care and service that so many other car rental agencies have tried to follow yet failed to meet.
Today, with a fleet of over 1300 automobiles and 29 locations across Southern California, Rent4Less is recognized as a leader amongst private car rental companies across the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego.
As an Independent car rental agency we know that every rental agreement matters.
As a consequence of this fact, we act as if our ability to stay alive in the market place depends on the business we receive from every person that walks into one of our branch offices.
This means that no matter who you are or how long the duration of your rental will be, Rent4Less values your patronage and will treat you with the respect and courtesy you deserve.
